As everyone knows, clams and mussels in general is clean by rubbing themself, usually in a sink using the many different tools (wooden spoons, sticks, etc.) up to finally using hands, more effective but more sensitive to the shells of shellfish. That's why we have created these Mussels cleaners.
Our production of Mussels-cleaners is mainly addressed to two different users: PULCO.03, loading 3 Kg., has been projected for fish-shops, where the manager only has to load the machine and set the timer-switch on. The PULCO.08 was instead realized for restaurants, where the preparation is done for the day, so to save time for all other works. For both models, the processing cycle lasts about five minutes, after which the machine will shut off automatically and the processed product will look shiny and free of any fouling or residue limestones.
Our Mussels cleaners are usually supplied with ventilated motors three phase (400V-50Hz switchable to 230V) or single phase (230V-50Hz) with thermal overload device. To these cleaners we can anyhow assemble motors at any voltage or frequency.
HUDSON's cleaners are also equipped with a timer-switch IP55 operating at 24V that is and inserted into a switch-board that, for models PULCO.03 ON BASE is prepared to be fixed to the wall, while for other models is fixed to the body of the equipment (unless otherwise requested).
The lid controls a sensor that stops the motor if the cover itself is removed from its seat thus preventing to achieve of the cleaning chamber when the engine is running.
Series Pulco.03 are provided with a 1/2" water-tap while Pulco.08 are equipped with an electrovalve (3/4") that automates the water inflowing facilitating the work and guaranteing the result (we anyhow suggest to prearrange a water-tap to the wall).
Feature of our Mussels cleaners is the turning-plate manually extractable to clean the inside of the equipment and they are also equipped by a settling tank to eliminate any risk of clogging sewer system. A hose, standard on all models, connects the discharge of the machine with the basin settling.
